Topics Discussed
On Behalf of the Committee
On behalf of the Garden Park Committee and TPM, we want to apologize to any of the homeowners here at Garden Park for anything that may have personally offended them. The reason we enforce the rules and regulations is to make Garden Park a more enjoyable place to live and to increase property values.
Important Information
The history of Garden Park is recorded in the minutes and financial records, and they are open for all residents to view. The management encourages residents to read these important documents to understand why and how decisions for the park have been made in the past which is why Garden Park is the way it is now. Anybody who has skills and talents to help out budgeting the park is encouraged to go over the financial records to help improve and make suggestions for positive change and a better financial future for Garden Park.
All homeowners at anytime can request monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements. Homeowners have the right to see all bids, receipts of bills paid, checks, etc. The Management Committee encourages full participation from all homeowners to check these things out.
We want you to understand that by law you have a right to look into all things, and investigate all of these things. It would be a wonderful thing to have all owners care and participate with these things.
When a project needs to be done (example: the asphalt) the committee members in charge of it get 3 or more bids for the job. Doing so ensures that we have researched with enough professionals to know what the project will take in getting it done.
Responsibilities of All Residents
Residents share in the responsibility of keeping their common porches clean. These areas are not for personal storage and storing items such as strollers, bikes, shoes, boxes, ash trays, etc. This does not include appropriate porch chairs or plants.
Residents who place personal items on common property areas will be charged a removal maintenance fee.
New Homeowners
All new homeowners need to contact TPM to register their pet with Garden Park and to update their own personal information. This will help so that our records stay current. Failure to register your pet and failure to register dogs/cats with Orem City will result in a fine. Here are some reminders on what pet fines include:
1. All pets must be on a leash when using the grounds of Garden Park
2. $100.00 fine for pet owners who do not clean up their pet excretement
3. Call TPM and Animal Control (229-7070) to report any problems
Lights Are Out
Call TPM. There are major chortages of electricity throughout Garden Park. This is in part due to old wiring wearing out and previous work not done properly. Please be patient as we have professional electricians troubleshoot these problems and work on them to meet code standards.
